Exhibition reception takes place Tuesday, 18th October, 6pm to 8pm.

Dublin City Council’s The LAB Gallery, has brought together some of Dublin’s most innovative artists to collaborate with Shimmer Research to make new work in response to the theme ‘Quantified Self’. Artists Michelle Browne, Cliona Harmey, Saoirse Higgins and Bea McMahon, curated by Sheena Barrett have developed films, drawings and sculpture in response to the possibilities of measuring offered by Shimmer’s wearable wireless sensor technology including kinematic, bio-physical and ambient characteristics. The exhibition will be accompanied by a series of events, talks and workshops. Established in Dublin in 2008, Shimmer Research is the leading provider of wearable wireless sensors in the world.
