Project Arts Centre / Geology Museum @ TCD

Venues for collaborative project by Sarah Browne and Jesse Jones – more here.

Located at the heart of artistic life in Dublin, Project Arts Centre remains at the forefront of cutting edge, high-quality art in Ireland. With an extensive programme covering everything from visual arts to dance, music and theatre, there is plenty to fuel the imagination from an exciting year-round programme.

The Geological Museum is situated on the top floor of the Department of Geology. The Museum collections date from 1777, and comprise about 80,000 specimens. The main palaeontological holdings include Irish Silurian and Carboniferous invertebrates, Mesozoic ostracods, and Upper Palaeozoic miospores. The mineral collection largely dates from the 1820s and contains both Irish and foreign specimens.
